Hello
There is a bug in Skype where the image of the webcam is truncated and flipped upside down.
Perhaps it is possible to package an older version (Pre Microsoft...) of Skype for Tanglu 4? Maybe some other fix?
Thank you!

Hmm, that could be kernel-driver related, but we unfortunately can't do anything about Skype itself (proprietary software...) - maybe wait for the 4.4 kernel to enter dasyatis and check again.

Hello,

maybe this could help to solve your problem.
See especially item 3.

Thanks, but video for linux control panel has no effect on Skype 4.3.0.37, driver gspca_zc3xx, card SPC 315NC.

hmm...maybe v4lcompat can help. Please install libv4l-0 for your architecture. Probably it is already installed.
Then start skype from terminal with
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libv4l/v4l1compat.so /usr/bin/skype for 64bit or
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libv4l/v4l1compat.so /usr/bin/skype for 32bit
Please check the path. Maybe its slightly different.
If it works but the picture is still flipped please place a
LIBV4LCONTROL_FLAGS=2 for flipping horizontal or LIBV4LCONTROL_FLAGS=4 for flipping horizontal and vertical
before LD_PRELOAD=...
Hope it helps
